VIPARIS in brief

VIPARIS is the product of the merger between the conference, exhibition and corporate event sites of the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris (CCIP) [Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry] and those of the Unibail-Rodamco company, bringing together the Top 10 venues for exhibitions, conventions and corporate events in Paris and the Île-de-France region. To date, VIPARIS is responsible for the operational management of Paris Porte de Versailles, Paris Nord Villepinte, Espace Champerret, Paris Le Bourget, Palais des Congrès de Paris, CNIT Paris La Défense, Espace Grande Arche, Carrousel du Louvre, Palais des Congrès de Versailles and Palais des Congrès d’Issy. Each of these venues, which together represent a surface area of 575,000 sq.m with 225,000 sq.m in expansion potential, offers its own special, complementary positioning.

VIPARIS seeks to become a major player in the dynamism and excellence that is expected for the Paris business tourism marketplace. It is particularly focused on the quality of service enjoyed by its organizers, exhibitors and visitors from France and the world over. VIPARIS is a European and worldwide leader in the convention-exhibition sector.

Every year, VIPARIS hosts an average of...

330 exhibitions, including:

· Large events with international attendance: Maisons et Objets [home style exhibition], SIAL [international food industry exhibition], Mondial de l'Auto [international auto exhibition], Foire de Paris [Paris trade fair] and Salon International de l'Aéronautique [international air and space exhibition].

· Specialty exhibitions: Click & Sea, Mondial du Cirque [international circus exhibition], Redcost, Galenika, Toymania and Salon du Brésil à Paris [Brazil exhibition in Paris].

150 national and international conferences:

· Congrès des ADF [ADF conference], Journées Françaises de Radiologies [French radiology conference], Congrès de la Chambre des Independents du Patrimoine [independent estate advisors], Journées Européennes de la Société Française de Cardiologie [European conference of the French cardiology society], World Congress of Biological Psychiatry, Annual European Congress of Rheumatology and the Airport Council International Congress.

600 corporate events:

That makes 9 million sq.m of gross area rented each year and 11 million international visitors per year at our venues compared to 12 million at Disneyland Paris, 8.3 million at the Louvre museum and 6.8 million at the Eiffel Tower.
